I agree. Thankfully this article and the chosen pic are only appearing here on PinkNews. If it appeared in mainstream media it would reinforce the impression that homosexual men are to be located wherever there is a public toilet.
Are you really suggesting that these crimes should not be reported in the public domain other than LGBT digital / printed news? You seem to want to cover up such crimes, why is this the case?
All too often crimes against gay men and other LGBT people go either unreported or overlooked which never helps the situation.
Having been a victim of another serial con-man in London many years ago it is difficult enough to report such crimes, let alone then have to read your ridiculous comments Eddie. It must be so very lonely on that pedestal of yours……….
I don’t think that’s what Eddy’s suggesting at all. He’s actually seems to be being thankful that the combination of this pic and article are only appearing here. For the mainstream media the combination would be a toxic mix.

W6, look again at what Jock and I commented on: not the reporting but the manner of the reporting, namely the use of a picture of urinals beside a headline referencing the targeting of gay men, ergo the implication that gay men are to be found around urinals, which is absurd.
I totally agree with th comment Jock made as he was quite rightly making a clear statement given the criminal was also targeting bars.
Your comment seemed to suggest to me that both the article & the chosen pic shoud not be used in mainstream media. The article mentions both public toilets & a cuising area & bars, whilst the photo used by PN was inappropriate the story is not.
I am suggesting that you appear to have been thankful that the story had not (at the time you made your comment) been published in the wider media. My impression of your posting comes from your previous assertions around gay venues, drugs & alcohol use etc. You have appear on occasions to make judgemental remarks in my humble opinion.

Ah, thank you, Staircase2. I have a sneaking suspicion that the gentleman’s ethnic background may possibly have caused PinkNews to pause before posting his image. It shouldn’t have though. A criminal is a criminal, and such a criminal, one who preys on people in public places, needs to have his face publicised. This gentleman may get up to the same mischief in public places, and not only public toilets, well outside the area in which he has been banned.
