US: Colorado Senate prepares for final vote on civil unions

    It passed without debate on a 21 to 14 vote, now the Civil Union Bill (Senate Bill Number 11 or SB-11) now goes to the three House Committees (called the Appropriations, Judiciary and Constitutional Committees) and hopefully quickly passes and gets to the House floor and gets signed into law by May 2013!

    May 1, 2013 is both the effective date and the date when the Colorado Legislature wraps up for the year!

    Now will it pass the House this time around, because this same bill just passed the Senate 3 times in 3 years over and over again????
