  1. I can’t believe people are still listening to these people!

  2. Scott Rose 8 Feb 2013, 6:14pm

So when an American lesbian couple’s child graduates from Harvard University, that happened because Satan wanted it to happen?

  3. Christopher in Canada 8 Feb 2013, 6:16pm

Satan is a pernicious lie, and is much older. We should deal with this one first.

    1. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:21am

…and how do you propose to do that…?

      (I suggest that’s a complete waste of time…)

      1. Perhaps Satan is gay. Perhaps he’s on our side. (Please don’t get rid of him, Christopher, until we find out.)

        1. I meant he might be useful in our fight against Xn fundamentalists. But of course (to the person who gave my comment -1) I WAS JOKING – I DON’T BELIEVE IN SUCH RIDICULOUS BEINGS !!

  4. If “redefining humanity” means favouring a future in which equality and fairness triumph over historical bigotry and hatred then let’s get redefining.

  5. And there was I thinking that equal respect was rather a good thing. What a silly boy I am…

  6. Robert in S. Kensington 8 Feb 2013, 6:46pm

I dare say, Edward Leigh, Sir Roger Gale, C4M/CI would concur. It’s not so far removed from what they say or believe is it?

  7. It is more like we do not want the LIKES of him redefining humanity to mean something that excludes a percentage of mankind.

  8. I love it when these christofascists open their mouths because they do so much damage to their religion. Also, someone should tell this guy that Satan was invented by his religious leaders to fill churches.

    1. Ninth Sphere 9 Feb 2013, 4:25am

Ahh well, sort of! Think about it, if there is good in this physical realm, then it stands to reason that that there is also opposing forces which do seek to destroy any good, well intentioned, and much needed equality. To me these people are “little Anti Christs in training”, and their belief system is based on lies, and illusion. Indeed, to use the Bible to spread hate is truly unconscionable.

      1. Ninth Sphere 10 Feb 2013, 1:07am

Ha, This is great…I try to tell people truth here, and get a minus one! Back in the day, people not having the words to describe what they knew assigned names, and terms to what they did not quite understand. I:e Satan, lucifer etc. The Catholic Church, wanting to control the masses have taken every advantage of these kinds of fears, and compounded them for their own nefarious purposes. Study some history folks on Gnostics, Cathars, Templars etc.. Seriously if there is light, then there is also dark. If there is yin, there also has to be yang. This truth obviously is upsetting to someone! I love it! I don’t know it all, but at least I know enough to know that this has to be! One cannot exist without the other! What matters is what is in our hearts, and it is very true that there are some pretty dark human hearts out there in the guise of “family Values”,organizations like NOM etc.. That these people are on the dark side of their hearts is obvious. Ignorance, and Authoritarianism.

  9. It’s like reading about a mystic charlatan – and all those backward dopes who believe the world is only 6 thousand years old – evolution will weed them out – eventually!

    1. Too slow…

      …WAY too slow…

  10. bobbleobble 8 Feb 2013, 7:44pm

Gender is actually quite important to gay people too you prat it’s just we don’t like the opposite one. We’re not trying to get rid of gender just make sure that whichever gender a person prefers they have the same rights as everyone else. Why are these people so frightened of us? At most we’re 10%of the population, get some perspective!

  11. robert (Kettering) 8 Feb 2013, 7:46pm

Looks like an axe murderer to me! The sort, I dare say, who frequents laybyes of an evening!

    A vile homophobic bigot.

  12. Tom (Wpg) 8 Feb 2013, 7:53pm

If I have learned anything from the right-wing religious war against gays in 2012 during the US election, it is that the fundamentalists have got to be the most ignorant people on the planet, the most narrow-minded, the most in need of a charitable heart, the most regressive in every aspect of human thought. In this day it is hard to understand where they took the wrong turn. Perhaps it has something to do with evolution, a fact that they deny.

    1. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:25am

      Well said…

But sadly it’s not just religious bigots who are that rigid and narrow minded; there are plenty of them about on BOTH sides of the God debate…

It’s always about fear, negativity and chronic defensiveness wherever it rears its ugly head

  13. If this is Satan’s pernicious lie then why doesn’t this idiot turn it around and make it god’s truth and give the finger to satan…..oh wait that would mean having compassion and accepting people for what they are….never gonna happen with these bigots!

  14. I give it, oh, six months before he’s found in a public loo with a boy barely old enough…

    1. Joseph oz 9 Feb 2013, 5:19am

Don’t worry… he’ll blame Satan for that one too!

  15. If this is satan’s pernicious lie then why doesn’t this man turn it around and make it god’s truth.
Oh wait that would mean having compassion and acceptance of his fellow human beings with all their flaws and rights to equality ..what small small excuses for a human beings these people are!!

  16. snap out of it, stanton… cheez !

  17. Liam the God 8 Feb 2013, 10:10pm

The only thing people in favour of Equality want to remove is Bigotry, prejudice, and hate: If that means “Redefining Humanity” I’d say it was a GOOD thing!!

    1. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:26am

      Well said!

  18. We don’t hear much about Satan in Britain – apart from the odd reminder from the DUP. The name always reminds me of Salem Witch Trials, Rosemary’s Baby and such nonsense. Weird to think that some people actually believe all that.

    1. Joseph oz 9 Feb 2013, 5:15am

Of course you don’t hear much of Satan in Britain… He’s too busy causing mischief in the USA.
Satan unlike god isn’t omnipresent and therefore cannot be in two countries at the same time.
But mark my words… once they have wrestled Satan out of the USA, he’ll be heading you way!
Poor old Satan, he must be gay… just like us, he gets blamed for everything that goes wrong in the world!

  19. Aren’t you tired of publishing news about insane US radio personalities every single day? :-)

  20. David Harley 9 Feb 2013, 12:24am

I should add that I posted that quotation to show that the really wild Christian fringe in the US can get a great deal weirder than the attack on “sexual deviance”, although the racial version is not often voiced in public.

Over half of all Republicans in some Southern states believe that “racially mixed” marriages are morally wrong.

  21. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:20am

“‘I’ve never seen these people come to the stump to advocate for marriage, the only time they are for marriage is when it has same-sex in front of it.’ Think about that.”

    …bloody idiot…

What these people need is someone to stand there, listen to them, then go, “that’s absolute bollocks…”

    1. Quite, the words “Check your privilege” were coined to describe that statement.
He seems to imagine that same sex marriage and straight marriage are like binary categories out of the movie “The Highlander” – that there can be only one.
But he’s half right, guilty as charged, I’ve never HAD to advocate for same sex marriage, cause that’s been taken for granted since human beings were able to utter the word “ug”!
He may as well accuse us of not demanding that the sun comes up in the morning.
Or is he considering a divorce now we’re tying the knot?

      1. D’oh… I really need an edit facility on these comments- In the third paragraph I was refering to straight marriage… morning coffee hasn’t kicked in yet!

  22. A silly retarded man ruined by religion why are they brainwashed by a load of bollocks thats from the dark ages but blokes like him you wont get through too you might as well talk to a brick wall you will get more sence

    1. It’s probably the only kind of job he could get…. Paid to talk, not to think…

  23. Jock S. Trap 9 Feb 2013, 10:40am

These religious extremists would have us all living in caves if they had there way… alond with them.

All I see is US Christian and you just know the rest will be predictable… It didn’t disappoint!

Another sad little person who only really represents the worst of humanity.

  24. Whatever would these people do without the Devil? He is much more important to them than God for the simple reason that He can be invoked as the ‘explanation’ for anything they don’t like and don’t want to engage with rationally (ie, just about everything).

  25. Daniel Moreau 9 Feb 2013, 11:57am

how can we even start on this guy? His quotes are erroneous to say the least and his lies are transparent and obscene to any intelligent person…but then those are not the people he is aiming at…if “redefining” humanity means allowing people the same freedoms across the board and dismissing gender and sexual orientation as a perametre of worth…then it’s about time we redefine…

  26. Gee he needs to go back to bible class,

The bible statest that If anyman is in Christ Jesus ( bornagain) he is a new creature, in that new creature – see 2 Corinthians 5:17 & we are told that there is no male or female in HIm Galatians 3 v 28

    1. And here is Faith – Jesus paid the Price for all gays to be gay and still make Heaven. What was once forbidden in the law of God ( law of Moses Leviticus 18:22) He paid our penalty price and then took away the Law altogether. what Love and what a Saviour. Incidently the bible also talks about the marriage of the LAMB of God and His Bride ( The Church) try that for redefining!

  27. douglas in canada 9 Feb 2013, 9:51pm

You’d think the god-followers would not be afraid of satan, assuming that they picked the stronger player and therefore the winning team.

It seems that they may be afraid that god isn’t as strong as satan (!!), which has a couple implications:
    1) they picked the wrong leader
    2) all that they learned about their god being “omnipotent” seems to be a lie.

  28. “They want to redefine humanity itself completely”

    lol. Over react much?
