  1. Holy crap, he went all out guns blazing to be as offensive as possible on this one.

I’m just going to hope everyone can see him for the obvious nutter he is, and let him shout and scream in his padded cell.

    1. Liam the God 8 Feb 2013, 4:47pm

It’s not mercy to keep a Rabid Dog in a cage: Shoot it and burn it for the sake of the world!!

  2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Classic! Was this dictated by Charlie Brooker or something?

  3. The same arguments being used by him to justify his homophobia have been used in the past to oppress black people. The “pro-homosexual agenda” is nothing more or less than a quest for equality. You’d like to think that this would strike a resonant chord with someone of African American descent. More proof that bigotry overwhelms empathy.

    1. I guess everyone’s got to have someone to look down on. Personally I chose to look down on assholes.

  4. yes Mr Rush and the world used to think of Black as such:
“The predominant colonial theory of race was the great chain of being, the idea that human races could be lined up from most superior to most inferior. That is, God, white people, and then an arrangement of non-white people, with blacks at the bottom”.

Mr. Rush the miltant status was started by ignorant people like you, Sheldon, Sears/Osten, Brown, Fischer and a few others. See homosexuality was no more a choice than the color of your skin was a choice but the way you talk you would like to change that as well.
What you fail to recognize that when you treat people poorly they respond in like. We learned from the best…your teachers.

    1. Robert in S. Kensington 8 Feb 2013, 5:04pm

A case of pot calling the kettle black. Every pun intended too!

  6. Robert in S. Kensington 8 Feb 2013, 5:03pm

Isn’t it revealing that when we strive for equality, we’re always regarded as the militant homosexual lobby, but when it’s a right wing political agenda to ban abortion, equal marriage, it isn’t? What a moron.

  7. Well he’s right, there is no such thing S gay marriage. It’s actually called marriage.

  8. Robert (Kettering) 8 Feb 2013, 5:49pm

He should bl**dy well know better the bigot! Some used to say exactly the same about giving black people equality way back. He’s a disgrace and homophobic bigot of the very worst kind.

  9. Sam D. Maloney 8 Feb 2013, 5:54pm

so long civil authorities perform marriages and those marriages convey certain rights and privileges, it is a civil, legal right.

  10. Katie kool-eyes 8 Feb 2013, 6:00pm

It would be quicker to list the demographics he didn’t upset with that statement!

  11. Christopher in Canada 8 Feb 2013, 6:12pm

We must really represent a threat to these people. Proof that heterosexuality is a precarious myth.

  12. Is this hate-filled creature actually TRYING to provoke American gays and lesbians to raging violence?????

  13. Oh, for the love of God!!! I’ve read some homophobic rants in my time but this beats all. This man is truly BARKING. I wonder if, in his lunatic ravings he might just be able to cast his mind back a decade or two when black people weren’t allowed to travel on the same bus as whites..or use the same public lavatories or even use the same drinking fountains. I wonder how he would have felt if some white man or woman had said that racial equality is a myth and doesn’t exist. Or that mixed marriages were unnatural.

Now, please excuse me while I go lay down in a darkened room.

  14. Besides, groups like the BSA who use publicly funded (DoD) facilities to host their events must conform to non-discrimination policies. As soon as the federal government adds sexual orientation to their umbrella non-d policy, BSA will have to conform anyway or risk no longer being allowed to use federally funded/maintained property for events, such as the jamboree. In fact, if I recall correctly, they only pay $1 for their jamboree and the rest is “gifted” or some other term to them by the DoD? They aren’t just a “private” group/corporation. They’re treading a line that requires compliance with various rules, and their old policy will be out of compliance as soon as the non-d clause is updated to include orientation. Why don’t they change now to keep from getting in trouble later? It would make more sense and make them look better, publicly, rather than being forced after making such a fuss.

  15. “Oh, we have monogamous homosexual couples playing house […] but there’s no marriage there. This is because marriage is not a civil union; it’s an ordained one.”

First, “playing house” refers to children pretending. It does not refer to paying bills together, supporting one another, and making a home together. I find this incredibly offensive. Second, his statement that “this is because marriage is not a civil union; it’s an ordained one.” is rubbish. Really?? Then why does marriage require a license issued by the state? Also, plenty of same-sex marriages are “ordained”/conducted by religious leaders. Plenty of religions recognize and celebrate their married straight and same-sex couples equally (props here to the UU church, which I absolutely adore, as well as many others).

This guy is just a sign that they’re getting desperate. We’re winning, you guys!! And I can’t wait to marry my wife legally.

  16. “One particularly dangerous fallacy advanced by homosexual activists is that pedophiles (such as those who have been charged with molesting Boy Scouts over the years) are not homosexuals.”

Too bad for him that there are so many legitimate, well-documented, scientific studies done on precisely this subject that show him to be wrong and that Pedophilia is an entirely separate thing from being a homosexual. While there, sadly, ARE some gay men who also suffer from Pedophilia, the vast majority of Pedophiles Identify as heterosexual. They are into the ease of control and domination over a weaker, smaller victim. Sex is merely an exercise of that power.
I’m rather amazed at how he didn’t say that the GLBT community had “no right to ride on the coat tails of the African-American Civil Rights Movement”. Ah well, small mercies.

  17. “Private organizations that ostensibly have the right to discriminate all they like”

You can sit at the back of my private bus then mate.

  18. As our US cousins say –

    Really!?

  19. In America they claim that the Boy Scouts are an extention of so many churches and church sponsors. Then it is time to take it into the 21st century and have it supported by secular and community organizationsAs it is ,in so many other western countries other than the US. This way the Boy Scouts could not be hijacked by some lunitic religious fringe group or cult, such as the SBC or the RC s.

  20. Washington 8 Feb 2013, 9:54pm

Another phoney ranting and frothing at the mouth for the sake of picking the pockets of the ill educated and homophobic religious irrationals. A prime candidate for outing at some point in the future I suspect.

  21. Well I could say that a black man in a suit is just pretending to be white. That would make as much sense as his argument.

    1. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:33am

That racist and should be removed, Pink News

      1. How is that racist? I made my point by thinking of a stupid comment to rival his. One that references his identity as he is attacking ours. Don’t ask for censorship. People can make their own minds up.

      2. If that is racist, you need a new brain.

  22. Joe Schmoe 9 Feb 2013, 12:20am

It’s Token Boy, the WND House Negro! Tell us more about the sodomites, Token Boy!

    1. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:34am

      Racist bollocks
      Please remove, Pink News

  23. Staircase2 9 Feb 2013, 2:30am

    #Bloodyidiot

…where do these people hide their brain cell…?

  24. There are some arguments worth countering, but sometimes people are just trolling us, like this guy. And I wonder if the best response in such cases is the usual advice – do not feed them.

  25. So tell me Mr Erik Rush, should you and your family been forced to forever sit at the back of the bus and the majority (of white folks) been told not to bow to calls for equality? Because, if it wasn’t for fair-minded white Americans who believe discrimination in any form is wrong; you would still be sitting at the back of the bus. Don’t forget your history lesson Mr Rush!

    1. Liam the God 9 Feb 2013, 10:58am

You’re assuming that a) he can read, and that b) he’d actually interpret history in a way that doesn’t say “Ahh, but that’s different because…..”. Revisionist Historians are not just in Japan re-writing the history of WWII, you know….

  26. Joseph oz 9 Feb 2013, 5:37am

You certainly couldn’t trust, Mr Rush with a box of matches…

Not that he’d burn himself, he’d be too fvcking stupid to light them…

No, he’d try to eat them… thinking that they were lollies and choke pity he didn’t choke on his words!

  27. Uncle Tom , I think is the expression …hope he finds that as offensive as I find him .

  28. “I continue to find this amusing” says this man. I don’t believe him. I’ve no doubt it fills him with rage, anger and despair. And I say, GOOD!! Any delusional, hate-filled bigot deserves to live a life of pain and anger. He doesn’t deserve happiness.

    1. ninth sphere 10 Feb 2013, 5:16am

Wow, this guy’s rant is one of the most vitriolic I have seen yet! I am kind of thinking this upsurge in anti equality, hate speech, and Trans_homophobia is because they are aware that they are losing this battle! Yay! :-)

  29. Oh, how nice, hatred of people with disabilities too. And is he suggesting that it’s fine to let any child play with matches as long as it’s not disabled?
