They’d rather have an obvious crook like Berlusconi in charge.

    1. Berlusconi disapproval rating: 75-80%
      Berlusconi party in polls: 17-20%
Berlusconi right-wing coalition in polls: 27-29%

There is 0.0 chance for him to become prime minister again. But the media needs to say bullshit to sell its stories.

  2. This is the trouble with allowing a religion … and a former Hitler Youth member to run it … to hold so much sway in civil life. Until the vatican sinks into the hole in which it belongs, I’m afraid homophobia will continue to pollute the world.

There are other religions that are MORE homophobic than the RCC. Removing ALL religion would be a start to removing Homophobia!

  3. Not surprising – to be gay in Italy is like being gay here in the seventies. They’re so behind, so when you hear them banging on about how superior they are just tell them to shut up. With the Catholic church running the place what you can expect? Horrible society!

    1. I find it fascinating that many people in gay websites like to make insulting generalizations about entire countries just because they dislike some concrete people there. People who call for tolerance should always reject generalizations. Horrible society? Do you know every italian personally? By the way, there are more homophobic aggressions in Britain than in Italy.
