It is discriminatory to give tax breaks to married or CPed couples but not to single people.
Being part of a couple makes like cheaper (assuming they have no children.)
A childless single person will pay more for goods and services than a chidless couple.
Why on earth should married or CP’ed people be given additional financial advantages.
