OMG these people are idiots. It’s a BONUS that this dog was going to be killed because of its owners prejudices!? How many dogs have ever been threatened with euthanasia for being heterosexual you clown? The dog was saved because people were genuinely moved to help by the actions of a total lunatic homophobe.

If God really existed he couldn’t possibly let idiots like this speak for him could he?!

  2. Well, it seems to me being religious is an obvious disadvantage. It has turned this individual into a complete and utter moron. But hey! The more these weirdos speak out in this fashion, the more that rational ‘believers’ will back away from association with them. So, Mr Donohue, keep up the good work. At this rate, organized religion will have been laughed out of existence before too much longer ….

  3. Even more to the point, this dog was saved from euthanasia because of all the hype this story got. The shelter did not want the negative publicity stemming from putting down a dog that was so highly publicized.

  4. Delusional religion-boggled nonsense, to be treated with the contempt it deserves and/or laughed at.

Of course, let’s not point out the role religion tends to play in leading gullible mouth-breathing fools like the dog’s owner to want to abandon a ‘gay’ dog anyway.

In the second decade of the 21st century I am embarrassed that people are still miring themselves in “magic.”

This man fell straight off the stupidity bus. Really, there’s no response necessary. His comments do our talking for us.

  7. This man is mentally ill!

  8. Errrrr, if the dog had been “straight” he wouldn’t have been on “death row” at all Mr Donohue?

  9. OK, so the owner thought their dog was gay so sent it to be put down?

It was the owner decided to call the dog Elton?

The place where is sent it to be put down is called Euthanasia, Tennesse?

    Is this story made up?

If not, the point made by the Catholic League gentleman is moot, because if the owner believed their dog to be stright they wouldn’t have sent him to be put down!

    1. The person who adopted the dog named him Elton and Euthanasia is a nick name given to the city, because of it’s kennel policies. I read on another article somewhere that the couple who originally had Elton are looking for another pit bull. Elton wasn’t mean enough to protect them.

  10. Bill Donohue is an old drunk. This shouldnt surprise anyone who has met him. You can smell him a block away.

  11. Oh, these people are getting desperate really when they start spouting such utter and complete BS. Go back to rattling round your Roseries and leave people (and dogs) alone.

  12. You just couldn’t make it up.

  13. It wasnt saved because it might be gay. It was saved because it was going to be killed simply because it might be gay.

Your a bluddy moron to not understand that.

  14. Just like all those lucky, lucky jews who were saved by Oskar Schindler I suppose. What a wonderful bonus it was to be jewish in Nazi Germany – how many stern adherents of the Roman cult were saved from the gas chambers by concerned industrialists, eh? eh?
