Th real reason for the rise in suicides in the military is the stress caused by too many assignments in Iraq/Afghanistan
What’s so infuriating is that these people can ignore or distort or misinterpret all the evidence they want safe in the knowledge that those to whom they speak haven’t the slightest interest in it. Bigots speak sweetly to bigots.
Of course the suicide rate is nothing to do with the stress of being in combat, losing friends in battle, living in a Hell-hole away from loved ones for months, being treated like cr@p when you return home. No it’s the Gays.

The reason these soldiers kill themselves is because they’re brainwashed by the bull5hit macho American culture into thinking they’ll be heroes if they sign up. They get about half the training of British soldiers and their tours last twice as long. Many can’t handle what they see and do over in Afghanistan.

How man of these suicides were because of Post Traumatic Distress, dismemberment, disability and related anguish, mental and other related concerns to the military.

Suicide has long been a factor in the military and veterans, more so with Vietnam veterans! Long before DADT!
Give some before and after figures for people to review. Give us a chance to see if the number of LGB suicides have actually dropped since the repeal of DADT
