      I relate and understand where your coming from, but if we all thought the same way…there would be no volunteers!

      It’s not about what a cause can do for me…it’s about what I can do for a cause!

      Some times being selfless has greater benefits!.

  2. Having taken part and been in the inside of Gay Pride organisations in 4 different countries over the past 20 years, I understand the dessperate stance organisers of London Pride. There is a total lack of trust towards it, and righfully so. it has become an exercise in corporate management ; nothing more than a commercial enterprise with the world Community painted over it to make it palatable.
    The sense of community, and community led event is all hot air unfortunately, and after last year’s fiasco, in a country where absolutely everything happening has ONE purpose only – that is to generate money for the sake of making more – I doubt things will change , essentially, for a very long time. From a Londoner too happy to leave for good this city.
