Love this man. The best speaker of the House ever! Thank you for your support, John Bercow, deeply appreciated. A man who truly gets what equality is all about.

  3. In a strange way things have vastly improved since Souter’s so called “referendum”. Decent people have made sure nothing like that ever happens again in this country.

  4. Probably Labour’s finest achievement was to appoint Bercow as Speaker….He’s loathed by the right wing of his own party, of course – which says it all, really:-)

Thank you Mr Bercow. It’s great to have yours and fellow like minded people’s support.

  6. Right wing, religious bigots, who are against equality, are looking increasingly marginalised and loopy. God does indeed work in mysterious ways.

This is the kind of Tory I like….John and his wife Sally have always campaigned for LGBT rights so good on them….now if only we got more like them….

The trouble is the much vaunted last government, and this one, spent and spend far too much effort appeasing religious reactionaries – hence all the fateful opt-out clauses which actually extended the scope of discrimination against lgb people in the name of ‘faith’. This state-sanctioned homophobia is a blot on the statute book and all it must be repealed.

    1. I agree, Richard. The pages and pages of labyrinthine clauses designed to appease the homophobic churches are extraordinary, and, as you say, a blot on the statute book.

  11. Well done mate, if only more MP’s thought in the way that you do. You’re absolutely right it is not enough that only the folk directly involved speak out….injustice and inequality should be the concern of and driven out by all

I wish the poison dwarf would fuck off and stop trying to ride on the backs of others and claim some kind of victory of his own. He had damn all to do with this.

He is one seriously loathsome individual.

What a horrible response. Your reference to his size probably says much about you.
