The link opened correctly for me, although it was VERY slow. Quite apart from the problems this lady is experiencing, I am always interested in news stories from Vietnam, having lived there for a number of years. It is socially a very authoritarian society and the Peoples Committee of whichever place you live in has a lot of power, often exercised (in my experience) in a highly capricious manner.

  2. What a bunch of Neanderthal idiots putting this poor woman in such unnecessary emotional and psychological distress ! Hasn’t she suffered enough? Apparently they never heard of science.

I can’t believe the idiocy of the People’s Committee. The woman’s surgery took place in a foreign hospital and so they refuse to recognise that it happened!

Some states in the USA have something similar, I believe. They require that genital surgery be done by a US accredited surgeon. So the Thai surgeons now get themselves an accreditation with the relevant authorities in the USA…
It’s all a load of bulshit of course…
