There is an easy solution to this problem…the BSA could easily fold if the American Public didn’t support their hateful policies .Plain and simple…they only continue to flourish because Americans are in agreement…especially the GOP and the religious right…

  3. There is some real malevolence at BSA to insist that this harmless policy was removed. They are completely unconcerned by the bad press their vindictiveness is bringing them. What utterly evil fools they are.

Where I grew up (in a small town in Canada) the Boy Scout movement was part and parcel ( hand in hand with) the Catholic Church. Their outdated policies and utter disrespect for an inclusive society is representative of the views of the Church. I recall a time in my youth at Scout Camp when the Monsignor signalled me out to join him in the canoe and off we went, away from everyone else, beyond the roped off section of lake. I never saw a man pull out his penis and pee so much and so many times in an afternoon…it was truly disturbing.

I have was thought that those who scream the loudest about us .have deep dark secrets .. and are huge walk in closet cases .. the National Capital Area Council is a bunch of bullies .. leading the way and promoting violence against the youngest members of our community //
and teaching their members its ok to grow to be narrowed minded bigots ..

Sounds like Troop 422 would be better off alone anyway. Good on them and I hope that they continue to make a stand.

It’s a disgrace that there should be Any discrimination esp against children in the 21st Century. To be forced to remove still send out a statement that Gay people are unwelcome and will face judgement. It’s just plain wrong and extremely damaging to all.

Boy Scout of America still actively choose to openly discriminate and how can that be right for anyone?

    Shameful!

So they should just leave the BSA and make up their own scouting troop. I would hope for this to set a trend.
