Ya don’t say? Go sort out Tower Hamlets for starters.

The C4M hate group are already bombarding the Lords with letters in addition to MPs. They’re a lot more organised than we are and determined to make sure it fails and it will if enough of them make their voices heard louder than ours.

    1. To anyone who isn’t sure how to contact your MP, it’s as simple as going to the C4EM website and putting in your postcode: . Then you can either send/edit one of their standard emails or write your own.

Please make sure that you send an email, tweet and FB about it, and that you get your friends and family to send an email too. It will take just a minute and it is hugely important to ensuring a good majority in the Commons and emboldening the government to use the Parliament Act if necessary.

If you want to contact the Lords, the list of Lords is here – you can search by party to find the Tories. Send a letter to House of Lords, London, SW1A 0PW. Or you can email at , stating to whom you want your email forwarded.

At the end of the day the vast majority of free thinking people in the UK know in their hearts that equality and EM for the LGBT community is right.

Remember also that the wickness that was slavery was not easily won and it took many right minded people and MPs to bring that about. The slaves had no voice and were not organised but in the end justice and right won the day. The same will happen for us I know it.

As many countries continue to introduce EM how will the UK look if it didn’t follow suite? The UK government could hardly lecture the world about equality and freedom if it couldn’t even off us basic freedoms about who we love and want to commit to now can it.

  4. Is this is same ‘Steve Reed’ whom led Lambeth Labour when registrars were treating same-sex civil partnerships with disdain – yet did nothing?

Is this the same ‘Steve Reed’ whom led Lambeth Labour when the ‘head of equalities’ disbanded the LGBT Staff Group because she didn’t want to give us equality in the workplace?

Is this the same ‘Steve Reed’ whom allowed Labour party members to attack an openly gay black Liberal Democrat Cllr and leaked a ‘gaydar’ picture of him to the South London Press and it ended up being a ‘front-page’ story where disgusting false stories were then printed about him? . . .

Shameful from start to finish are these Lambeth Labour people . . .

I think you’re falsely attributing things here.

  5. The C4M brigade are energetic and well organised but they do not have ANY strong arguments. They will not win over any converts from the majority of the public who see nothing wrong with SSM. All they can do is preach to those who already agree with them in the Lords.
Everyone should indeed write to their MP and get assurances of support. I’m lucky – my MP is Lynne Featherstone.
