  1. Thanks, Aaron. You are a nice guy. Some Jewish leaders are still letting the side down but a growing number are adding caring and intelligent voices to the debate.

    1. most reform Jewish rabbis in the USA will marry gay couples under relgiious law even if the marriages are not recognized by the state.

      Some conservatives also

the orthodox – most of them – send them to the russian gulag Just another branch of the bible thumpers picking and choosing who to stone to death.

  2. After a similar announcement earlier from The Quakers, I was tempted to join them. Now, I’m torn. However, being an agnostic, I think I’ll stay as I am; under the influence of no organised religion.

    1. To quite an extent the UU church is agnostic – not sure if christ is a real son, etc. BTW you’ll never meet a nicer group of people.

The question is simple – if you want nothing to do with religon, dont join. If you want a progressive easy going church look at the UUs

I have a lot of time for Liberal Judaism and used to attend a Synagogue in Leicester and was made very, very welcome indeed.

Attended one of their bi-annual weekend conferences a few years back and had a fantastic time. I tell you, Jews sure know how to party!!

Seriously, I think that with the support of LJ and the other Christian churches we are at least getting a positive message across.

Thank you, I am glad that you are able to follow this Equal Marriage.
The reason that the Church of England has difficulties is tied up with Cannon Law. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
