Rylan Clark, has been secretly leaving the Celebrity Big Brother House to rehearse for an X-Factor tour, a former fellow housemate has claimed.

After being evicted on Friday, Gillian Taylforth, best know for playing Kathy on BBC’s Eastenders, told Channel 5 program the Wright Stuff that the openly gay singer had been secretly leaving the house to take part in rehearsals.

She said: “Rylan went out to do X Factor rehearsals… obviously he wasn’t allowed to talk about it, but when he came back he’d just ask somebody the time very quickly like [his] driver, and we said to him when he’d get in, ‘What’s the time?'”

Normally contestants are allowed no contact with the outside world, and are not allowed to leave the Big Brother house, reports the Mirror.

A microphone operator on the Channel 5 program also tweeted confirming Ms Taylforth had told him the same thing.

Eric Johnson tweeted: “Recently evicted housemate just told me #Rylan has been leaving the #CBB house for #XFactor tour rehearsals EVERY SUNDAY. Ooops!”

He later tweeted that the odds of Rylan winning CBB had dropped since news broke of his secret departures from the house.

“After revelation that #Rylan‘s been secretly leaving the #CBB house for #Xfactor tour rehearsals, odds for him to win are now 8/13 from 1/4!”, he tweeted.

Earlier in Celebrity Big Brother, Mr Clark broke down in tears and claimed he was more hated than paedophile Jimmy Savile.

Before being voted off the X Factor, Mr Clark had voiced his displeasure at ‘hateful’ comments made by Gary Barlow at a charity event on Tuesday, in which he suggested that the judge had gone too far.

The gay former X Factor contender was snapped up as a presenter on ITV’s Daybreak programme just days after being voted off the music reality show.

Last week, former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Paula Hamilton, caused controversy by suggesting that actor, Sam Robertson, was secretly gay, and that he needed to come out.

Rylan Clark is still favourite to win CBB, the final of which takes place on Friday.
