  1. There comes a point when the pushing of the gay lifestyle to limits that the mainstream public considers excessive and even extreme begins to reach a breaking point.

I do hope I’m wrong but it would seem the backlash is beginning…

    1. Who, exactly, is pushing a gay ‘lifestyle’?

I would not call it pushing a lifestyle. I would call it finding our voices.

The backlash has been going for years, where have you been?

      1. Robert in S. Kensington 17 Jan 2013, 4:32pm

Exactly, but it’s diminishing as more and more countries introduce equal marriage. That’s why deranged idiots like him come here to rant, an act of desperation. Thankfully, there is now a very strong backlash fomenting against religious nutters and their chosen lifestyle.

      2. Robert in S. Kensington 17 Jan 2013, 4:46pm

The FFA (religion based) apparently seem to be pushing their chosen lifestyle flying the banner, a form of bullying too. Their spurious nonsense has all been debunked by the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association. The FFA has not been able to provide one legitimate study to lend any credence to their claims. I won’t be surprised if the Southern Poverty Law Centre adds it to its list of 1400 hate groups currently in operation.

    2. That There Other David 17 Jan 2013, 3:56pm

The FFA can hardly be considered the mainstream public. You can see that in their statement, where they use the same tired old line that makes out gay adults as predators out to convert innocent God-fearing heterosexual children. The FFA ought to be checking into rehab clinics for addiction to nonsense.

    3. Don’t worry, Samuel. You and all the other Uncle Toms will be spared by the hordes.

    4. Now, now, don’t feed the troll!

    5. What a stupid and groundless comment. I am really lost for words – and that does not happen often!

    6. It’s bad enough when ignorant non-gay people speak of The Gay Lifestyle. When a purportedly gay man does too, that’s truly depressing.

  2. Are the people from the FFA burying their heads in the sand?

There is plenty of evidence to support the fact that people are born gay and it is NOT a matter of choice (with the exception of choosing to accept that you are gay).

They also claim ” there is an abundance of evidence which indicates that very large number of male teens and older boys are introduced to the homosexual lifestyle by aggressive homosexual adults.” I for one would like to see this evidence, but as usual, they won’t be able to provide any as they know it does not exist.

  3. Isn’t this classified as discrimination and racism, how was that plane aloud to fly over with that message, I’m sure if it was anti-jew it would be all over the newspapers

    1. Under the 1st Amendment, all Americans are allowed to voice their views,
Something which we in the UK are having limits on all the time, because of the homosexual agenda.

      1. That There Other David 17 Jan 2013, 4:36pm

LOL. I bet on other forums you blame black people or Muslims :-D

        1. Bling Crosby 17 Jan 2013, 6:13pm

          What’s wrong with that?

          1. That There Other David 17 Jan 2013, 6:22pm

For some people there’s always some minority group to blame. Matt is implying that the reason the UK establishment (and probably others in the Western world) have cracked down on protest and free speech over the past few decades is because of us LGBTs, rather than the establishment’s fear of the entire population’s ability to communicate readily and easily in a way that wasn’t possible 30 years ago.

It’s obviously easier for some people to blame those they already dislike rather than see the real cause.

      2. No. LGBT Brits are just finally getting the same anti-discrimination laws that every other minority has had for years.

        Stay mad. It’s amusing.

      3. “Homosexual agenda”…. yes. I want to get married to the women I love, help people get equal rights, be a peaceful and happy member of society and adopt several unwanted kids who have been dumped by straight parents…

      4. The Homosexual Agenda? Bless. Is that what you found in the gay lobby?

      5. Dex (@MrDexB) 18 Jan 2013, 7:36pm

I hate it when people like you use “free speech” as a excuse to bully!

    2. Never heard of the law of resistance?

Yes of course it would be all over the papers because the Jews control the media and just about everything else, don’t they?

      Yadda yadda.

      1. Uncouth Youth 18 Jan 2013, 10:23am

‘the Jews control the media and just about everything else’

Samuel, have you been a naughty boy and started reading ‘Mein Kamf’ again?

  4. omg have these people nothing better to do than to try to ‘police’ how others live their lives? how sad, get a life.

  5. More money down the drain. Everyone knows what you think. Spend your money on charity, instead.
These people who think they have “Christian” values are deluded and vindictive.

  6. This merely underlines the evil of religion, and gives emphasis to the fact that religious faith is a mental illness.

  7. Well, they *do* have a point… no one is born bigoted, narrow minded, or full of hate – they chose to ‘be that way’

  8. This merely underlines tha fact that religion is evil, and that religious faith is a mental illness

  9. Suddenly Last Bummer 17 Jan 2013, 5:31pm

I wasn’t born the way Gaga subscribes to. I don’t scream for attention and then run to a therapist. She needs to shut her cakehole and take her faux bisexual claims to FHM or whichever lads’ mag peddles in that type of titillation for straight guys.

    1. Mel-Anne Omagh 17 Jan 2013, 6:16pm

Can we make Pink News a Gaga Free Zone? Please!

      1. I second that.

    2. Agreed. Mr. Bummer.

Gaga was born a freak and glorifies Devil worshipping imagery and symbolism.

I most certainly was NOT born that way thank you very much!

      1. Lion in Winter 18 Jan 2013, 12:16am

No – you were a miracle of nature, as no one previous has been born having already had a lobotomy as you have!

Grow up. Get an education. Now.

  10. As ever, when you can’t hear the truth shoot the messenger…

    1. That There Other David 17 Jan 2013, 6:09pm

There’s no truth in your post though is there? Only a skewed perception which all evidence shows to be separate from the actual trends going on in society. The FFA are not the general public, they’re an anti-LGBT group. They’ve always been an anti-LGBT group for as long as they’ve existed. Therefore using their actions, extrapolating them out and projecting them onto the population at large isn’t valid. Nor is using their actions as evidence of some imagined backlash which obviously isn’t occurring.

      1. Yes but backlashes always begin with extremists whose behaviour then trickles through to the mainstream, igniting homophobic behaviour from those who would otherwise continue to repress it.

        It is called herd mentality.

It just concerns me that we may be nearing a point of resistance in our expectations of just how tolerant we believe Joe Public is towards us, particularly with the current bulldozing through of gay marriage.

Sure, most people in the west are in favour but that still leaves millions, perhaps billions worldwide, who are not, and the cumulative impact of those whose views are not being allowed to be properly aired could backfire on all of us.

I hope I am wrong, but a groundswell of opinion against our zeal to win equal marriage rights appears to be gaining momentum…

        1. Now apply all you just said to ‘slavery’. And do watch ‘Lincoln’ for an idea of how the “groundswell of opinion against our zeal to win equal marriage rights” you refer to is really quite trivial compared to past attitudes to black slavery. It’s a simple matter of fact that the more the zealots have ranted their extreme nonsense over the past two years, the more public opinion has moved in favour of marriage equality and against religion. Just enjoy the show….

        2. That There Other David 18 Jan 2013, 9:56am

I sometimes wonder Samuel if you actually inhabit the same planet we do. Despite the best efforts of the media to sensationalise the marriage equality debate it’s clear that most people in the UK thoroughly welcome the idea and want the government to just get it done and out the way. Exactly the same as it is in France.

Other countries and cultures outside of the Americas, Western Europe and the Anglosphere are also beginning to examine their own anti-LGBT laws and think about whether they ought to review them. India and China for instance. Although pretty much all of Africa and the Muslim countries are strongly against the idea there doesn’t appear to be any building anti-LGBT feeling outside of Vatican City and a certain compound in Topeka, Kansas. The anti-equality crowd are very much the ones out of step with the direction the human race (the herd) is taking, and their numbers are shrinking every year despite their noise.

        3. Sweet & Tender Hooligan 18 Jan 2013, 10:17am

Are you really gay? After being unfortunate to read your rants I had formed the opinion that you were, what is commonly termed, a troll. You know, one of the homophobic crew who infect this site with their antedeluvian views.
          People are strange.
Are you sure you are not simply ‘posing as a somdomite’?

  11. I hope the advertising company get’s it’s share of flak for supporting this kind of hate.

  12. It’s true though – nobody is born a christian.

  13. $1900! I feel saddened that so much money has been spent on something so futile when apparently 14 % of people in Florida are below the poverty level. As an organisation they say they ‘protect and promote biblical values’, how about they spend some of that money on food and shelter!

    1. $1900 is nothing compared to the $2million spent by the Catholic hierarchy to fight against equal marriage during the recent US election:

      Completely wasted, of course. HA!!

  14. What a waste of money from so called Christians. Disgusting.

    1. Yes, but so long as it’s their own money they’re wasting, I don’t really care.

Expecting to follow the teachings of their Christ, and use that money instead for … oh, say the benefit of others, is really too much to expect of that sort.

There is no scientific evidence for the existance of god; therefore it must be an evil creation of perverted minds.
