More strength and power to these wonderful women who are telling Nazinger the Hitler Jugend member “Homophobic shut up!”

    1. Crista Sadler 14 Jan 2013, 9:34am

      They are my new Heroines…
I would LOVE to copy/paste, join these ladies here in the States..

  2. i’ve not read anywhere else that it was marriage equality they were fighting for. The vatican’s bigotry goes well beyond that

  3. I love these women.

  4. These women have got GUTS and they’ve proven it! Well done!

We must take inspiration from them. Particularly at this time when war has been declared upon us by the Catholic Church and thousands of homophobic politicians and “ordinary people”.

  5. The Vatican has always had a fear and loathing of women. The Catholic church, like virtually all of the world’s most corrupt organisations has been male-dominated as well as fiercely anti-woman.

Homophobia and misogyny go hand in hand, it’s the same in all religions. I find it ironic that the right wing Christians who criticise Islamic fundamentalists often have much in common with them.

*Cue the misogynist and homophobic bores on the Mail site posting hateful comments about women and gay people when they report on this story.*

    1. “The Catholic church, like virtually all of the world’s most corrupt organisations has been male-dominated as well as fiercely anti-woman”

You really are ignorant – it’s really quite frighting .Half of the Church for a start are women.Probably half the saints are women – the most important being Mary the Mother of God .Doctors of the Church : Teresa of Avila ,Catherine of Siena , Saint Térèse of Lisieux, Hildegard of Bingen etc etc

Maybe time you started not reading the Guardian and read some history to combat the secular liberal elite indoctrination .

      1. LOL! you need to be on medication.

      2. Women still take a subordinate role in the Catholic church do they not? I’ve noticed that it’s common for the supporters of religious bigotry to claim that people must be brainwashed by an imaginary left-wing, liberal conspiracy if they’re not as hate-filled and narrow-minded as they are.

Besides where is the evidence that I read the Guardian? You don’t have to read the Gaurdian to realise what a pernicious, mendacious and hate-filled piece of crap it is. After all according to you this site is “an extremist homosexual website”, based on that I’d question whether any of your arguments have any foundation in reality.

“Half of the Church for a start are women.Probably half the saints are women ”

So whats the Catholic Church’s view of women priests then, Ray?

        1. He conveniently forgot to mention that.

        2. Woman priests has never been an issue.Catherine of Siena who unified the Church certainly never wanted to be a priest ! It would be a bit like saying Jesus was not an ‘equal opportunities’ person because he picked men as his Apostles! .The Church does not have the authority to ordain women.

Only factions like the C of E founded by a tyrant called Henry VIII seem obsessed with woman priests , homosexual priests , and tribade Bishops !

“The Catholic Church is for saints and sinners alone. For respectable people, the Anglican Church will do”

Oscar Wilde (Catholic convert ….threre’s Hope for all Pink people !)

          1. The biblical texts are full of inconsistencies and are often of dubious origin. Why anybody would want to follow the teachings of a Bronze Age book from the Middle East is beyond reason.

Henry VIII was a tyrant, but so were all monarchs at this time. Thousands of people were burned for heresy by the Inquisition in Europe, not to mention the appalling and unforgivable treatment of the pre-Columbian population in the Americas by the conquistadors. For every example of a saint you put forward there’s millions of women who have suffered under this backward and criminal organisation.

          2. Deathbed conversions signal such a sincere level of belief in Catholicism, don’t they Ray?

          3. They certainly do Rehan, after all Jesus said “Thus the last shall be first and the first shall be last”. (Matthew 20:16) – it’s never too late .Mr Wilde received into the Church with open arms.

      4. “Mary the Mother of God .Doctors of the Church : Teresa of Avila ,Catherine of Siena , Saint Térèse of Lisieux, Hildegard of Bingen” and so on and so on are all compartmentalised oppressed passives, not to mention mental delusionals!

Silly boy, Ray. Wake up. See through the inventions and lies of the Catholic Church and of all religions. Face the real world. Be strong. Don’t be a sheep.

        1. Rehan, I believe the phrase you’re looking for is “scraping the bottom of the barrel”.

      5. I don’t think their statement was erroneous. Male dominated and anti-woman are correct descriptions. She did not say it was men only. However based on rights and power and dicition-making ability, it might as well have been.

  6. Love it. Very brave.

  7. The Ukraine has suddenly gone up in my estimation.

I particularly like how the policeman’s helmet goes flying into the air!

    LOL.

  8. “Shut up!”

Beer Hall Putsch politics with no tops on.Says it all – a poor man’s pussy riot(and they were rubbish too) which went unnoticed apart from on an extremist homosexual website – Says it all!

    1. Yes I’m sure one day gay men and feminists will form a totalitarian government and army that will annex most of mainland Europe and persecute poor straight men (haven’t they suffered enough throughout history?).

I suppose you’re one of those people who label women’s rights activists as ‘feminazis’, such terms only emphasise the juvenile nature of reactionary conservatives and Christians.

    2. I feel sad for you Ray. You are a poster-child for the Godless hater who revels in the Devil’s praise.
Your hateful soul will be the burden you carry through this life if you cannot find a way to celebrate all your brothers in this world.

  9. I was going to share the following with the pontiff, but seeing how I don’t have his email address. I thought I would share it with you because… well you’ll understand!

    1. Thanks for that, Steve. Wouldn’t ya love to have that suddenly play on a big screen magically descended “from heaven” in the middle of Sunday Mass in every Catholic church in the world! It’d give their Sunday Masses a bit of interest!

      1. Yes! It just seemed so topical considering the vitriolic dialogue spewing from the Vatican. Quite an ironic find on the day of the protest at the Vatican… even more interesting that it is is on a channel “Domus Valeria” which is located in Rome.

  10. Good on you girls, keep it up!

  11. Darren Theoret 14 Jan 2013, 11:33am

And I thought there were enough t!ts at the Vatican! I was wrong. Good show :) womyn!

  12. Jock S. Trap 14 Jan 2013, 11:56am

If the Vatican wish to discriminate then they can expect a decent society to react back!

    Good for these Femen!!

  13. The Pope is so high up he would not have noticed any disturbance in the square….

  14. i speaking come from Uganda where dat x-mass gift is but i see now people are turning to gay as a threat but we also would like to see how it is to be a free person with what youre in this world.
i have suffered mentaly, physically, socially, and financially, i now have no place to call home but being a gay is in my genes and i can feel it give us da rights. moseswalusimbi@ymail.com
