US: Illinois Senate could ‘fast track’ and approve equal marriage ‘very soon’

  1. He sounds very confident. I hope he’s right. It’s encouraging that hundreds of religious leaders have shown support but there will be hundreds more who are determined to see this fail.

    No more excuses and no more delays now, because the Democrats have a “supermajority” in both houses and a governor that’s supports same sex marriage!

    California also has a “supermajority” in their State Legislature, so there is NO MORE EXCUSES NOW!

    The bill has already passed the Illinios Senate Committee, so now the bill to allow SSM should so straight to the Illinios Senate floor and hopefully passes in a hasty fashion!

    Then if the SSM bill is passed in the full Senate, then it goes to the House Committee, then if passed that stage, then the House floor, then if passed the House floor and is an identical version of what the Senate version then the SSM will go to the Governor for signature!
