  1. Ooh, you’re SO right, Bish! In all those countries that already allow same sex marriage there aren’t any people left at all!

    What an idiot he sounds!

  2. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again Bishop, the only thing that is destroying humanity is your evil, vitriolic hatred.

  3. Another crazy spews lies and filth about people he knows nothing about.

Every time these fools come out with rubbish like this, they should be made to quantify exacly how these events will take place or risk legal action.

    1. Ah, but…
If they were made to prove the facts of the bellicose bile that they spout; then they would claim that that would infringe their rights and be religious persecution.

You see… The Sky Faerie gives them the right to say anything about anyone with impunity… Or so they believe…

Who’s next in the Vatican’s queue of idiots spouting nonsense?

They obviously believe the dictum that repeating a lie often enough will convince some people that it’s true.

Yeah LGBTQI couples getting hitched is the destruction of human beings…. Not the fact the world is over populated by heterosexuals, with men, women and children dying of starvation, dying in wars usually sparked by religious arguements etc.

    Makes perfect sense….. Not!

What planet do these people think they live on. Way to pass the buck, eh?!

  6. Yawn.

  7. Dave North 11 Jan 2013, 3:07pm

    Catholic loon spouts drivel.

    Nothing new here.

  8. If domestic partnerships in Chile can do that, then imagine what gay marriage would do?! Destroy the very fabric of the universe itself! Stars will collapse in on themselves; planet will implode. Thanks for the warning bishop!

  9. The apocalyptic end of the world, ‘wrath of God’ and destruction of the world, etc have been suggested and confirmed by men for centuries with none coming true. It is used by the Christian religious hierarchy and shaman men, voodoo priest, doomsday cult leaders and tele-evangelists to scare men into obedience and silence. Enough of this b.s. from these Churches, especially the morally bankrupt Roman Church.

  10. More evidence, if t’were needed, that the Roman Catholic Church pollutes society.

    The bloody idiot…

These people are educated to degree level equivalent too! Beggars belief!

  12. Har Davids 11 Jan 2013, 4:19pm

Not very original, but surely his god must be powerful enough to prevent this from happening?

  13. I understand PN wants to keep us informed but do we really need to hear about it every time some deranged person says something stupid about how humankind will be destroyed by the gays? I think it also creates a negative idea among us about what religious people are like. There’s plenty of nice ones but all we hear about are the wack jobs…

    1. Ben Foster 11 Jan 2013, 5:23pm

Then it’s time the ‘nice ones’ spoke up.

  14. Robert in S. Kensington 11 Jan 2013, 5:42pm

A bit rich coming from a vile oppressive cult which has destroyed the lives of innocent boys and girls perpertated by catholic clergy and covered up for decades to protect the criminals in their ranks. Those were pernicious, heinous crimes against humanity and the entire f_cking hierarchy including the Pope should be prosecuted in the World Court in the Hague.

  15. the proposed bill “brings the destruction of human beings and, although they deny it, destruction to social and family peace among men.”

And Chile had such a fantastic record when it comes to social and family peace in, say, the Pinochet years, didn’t it?

  16. That There Other David 11 Jan 2013, 7:57pm

“We should clearly differentiate the opinion of the Catholic hierarchy and the Catholic people.”

Totally agree. The Vatican’s position is the only thing facing destruction as I see it. Most ordinary Catholics are sick to death of the vile old farts running the show.

  17. More ravings from worshipers of the Vati-rant cult!

No, marriage equality does not bring about the “destruction of human beings”, not even close…..being molested by Catholic priests is what brings about the destruction of human beings. nuff said….
