Wed her fiancee? I wasn’t aware equal marriage was legal yet.

  6. I left a very homophobic Scotland in 1967 and used to say that the best view of Scotand was in your rear view mirror. However I have been back many times over the past 15 years or so – particularly Edinburgh – and have to say it is a completely different place. A few years back I asked a bobby to give me directions to a gay bar. He placed a friendly arm on my shoulder, led me to the corner, pointed out the way, gave detailed instructions and wished me a good time when I got there!!

    1. Obviously fancied you!
