The murder of Daniel Zamudio is one of the most horrific killings I ever heard of. I hope the spectre of this barbarism stays with the Chilean people through their deliberations over the value of equality.

May I wish Senator Ximena Rincón well, and hope she wins the election. She would be the best candidate.
