Singer Ke$ha comes out as bisexual and stands up against homophobic bullying

US singer/songwriter Ke$ha has spoken out about bullying and being attracted to both men and women in Seventeen magazine’s February issue.

Ke$ha, 25, said “I don’t love just men. I love people. It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with.”

Earlier this year, British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch came out as bisexual. Hitch, who co-wrote Ke$ha’s “Blah Blah Blah”, claimed that she has “a personal belief that everybody’s gay. Maybe some people don’t know it.”

Ke$ha also said, “I’m all about standing up to gay/lesbian/transgender bulling.” Her “zero tolerance for people making fun of others” gave her the title for her latest album. She added, “that’s one of the reasons I named my record Warrior. You can be a victim and let that eat your soul, or you can say, ‘You’re going on my list and I’m going to prove you wrong!'”

Ke$ha’s biggest hits include “Tik Tok” and “We R Who We R”.
