Oddly enough most of the banking / financial institutions have absolutely excellent LGBT rights groups and HR processes, including Bank of America !! In fact I believe they scored 100 / 100 for their LGBT processes.
A massive failure on their part, but I suspect there is just a disconnect between corporate policy and computer-driven legacy application processing systems.
They should have been fined more, IMHO, but given they are a very good LGBT employer perhaps that was taken in to consideration.
