Why report this story without his great remarks on homophobia (again) should have been the headline!!

It’s true that David Walliams is happy to be camp – it’s how he has made all his money. It really annoys me that he overplays his campness in order to win over a few cheap laughs. His pathetic attempts to pretend to come on to Simon Cowell were hideous and he suggests that all gay men are the same. It’s fine when he’s portraying a character, as in Little Britain, but in the Jonathan Ross interview and on BGT, his campness was unnecessarily used for comedy, and he blatantly doesn’t have any other means of being funny. As a gay man, I’m offended every time he does it.

      > “There’s nothing wrong with being gay, so if people say I am, it doesn’t bother me.

For me, that sentence erases all the complaints.

    2. Offended??? Jon, you do not own camp. Walliams has made it clear that, to him, camp and Gay are not the same thing. Get a sense of humour. As a Gay Mann it’s the least you can do.

Well don’t worry about it sweetie.

If it’s any consolation, we hate the way you look as well.
