Well, a comedy about a gay man who is murdered is not my idea of a good night out in Uganda. If there was no political motivation behind this play it does seem an extraordinary choice given the current mood. I’m sure I would not need to live in Uganda for 3 years to realise that the authorities are serious about their “Lawful Orders”. This man sounds unwise but I am glad he has avoided disaster.

I must have missed it, but where does it say the play is a comedy?
Finally, a smidgen of good news from Uganda – and even then it’s only good relatively speaking.
