No point telling god, he doesn’t agree.

I’m sure God, if he exists would agree. It is all those self appointed judges, juries and executioners who claim to represent him that beg to differ.

  2. Thank you Mr President. You are such a civilising influence. Not just on the USA but the whole world.
It’s contemptible that while politicians are talking of dignity and respect, the churches are still spewing intolerance and hate. It’s their funeral.

Now let’s see if the BBC picks this one up and spins it differently along with its bigots in arms, the Daily Mail and Telegraph.

Of course, it wouldnt. If Jesus Christ said it, it still wouldn’t.

  4. Better than nothing I suppose, but a strong leader would be enforcing it not ‘calling’ for it.

First, he can’t “enforce” a law that doesn’t exist, he can only “call” for it to be passed by legislators. Second, even if it did exist in the State of Illinois, the President couldn’t “enforce” a state law even if wanted to.

A spokesman, it would of meant a lot more coming from him. Like the slip of the tough from the vice president that he was for same sex marriage.

If he wants something he should get out there and call for it not wait for someone else to test the waters
