    Jesus Christ !

The KKK will be having bake sales and raising money for orphans next. Have they turned into someone else than a White Supremacist group ?!

More to the point, what is that child doing there? Isn’t there a case for taking away these children as they’re being radicalised and exposed to extremism? Where is the child’s welfare in this? He’ll grow up to be another Andrews Breivik, he’ll be 18 and find himself in a world which is accepting of people who are gay, won’t be able to get a job with other ‘normal’ people – his whole life ruined. If I grew up in the WBC I’d demand the state take me in to care.

Well in the US this comes under freedom of speech and religion. Teaching your kids to hate is not a crime and is not regarded as a hazard to a child’s welfare…I actually have to support that to a degree, I don’t want to set a precedent where people who say unpopular things lose their kids. And remember most of this cult are family members and lawyers as well, ready to step right in and file lawsuits which have generated a tidy sum for the ‘church’. Many of the children have ‘escaped’ as older teens and adults. I don’t like it, but I don’t know that we have an objective set of standards that can be used…at least not ones that couldn’t also be used to take kids away from gay parents.

Remember that the EDL has a gay section. There are gay racists around in this country too, so it’s not that implausible that this bit of the KKK has racists

      Post a reply →
      1. The EDL only excludes and targets those it considers foreign. This is regardless of race, gender, sexuality, disability, etc. Therefore, it’s not surprising that they have gays.

The Ku Klux Klan also considers homosexuality an abomination, putting gays right up there with blacks and Jews. They’re not protesting the WBC because they’re hurt by the homophobia. They’re doing it because they’re incredibly patriotic and like soldiers. In fact, if you’re patriotic and homophobic, the most offensive thing (I would assume) would be to call a soldier a fag.

The EDL is mindless in its xenophobia, and many members are offensive and clearly driven by racism. But it is unfair to compare it to the Klan (a group that takes pride in its history of lynching blacks, including pregnant women).

Give it a rest you pr**k. Why the f**k would I be anti-Catholic when the majority of Catholics here and in the UK support full equal rights ! It’s only the vampires and hooligans who have infected the Catholic hierarchy and leadership who are the problem, and most Catholics don’t listen to them anyway. I don’t believe in God, nor in the slightest, but if people want to believe in it good for them, if it helps them. But wingnuts who want to impose their religion on others are hated by the majority. Hated. Nobody has rule over my life, I decide what I do, not people like you. I will do what feels right for me and it is none-of-your-business.

Now kindly stop stalking these forums or I will be reporting your posts.

And I’m not a f**king activist – I’m an ordinary person, who just wants to be left alone by Catholic weirdos as opposed to normal nice accepting Catholics. I reject you 100% and everything you stand for. Now pee off and stop your baiting and harassment.

    2. Pink News didn’t coin the phrase. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” is an old proverb in more than one culture. It is thinking of this nature that had our foreign policy experts in bed with the Ayatollah Khomeini and binLaden when they were fighting the Soviet Union.

I’m sure we all have seen how brilliantly that strategy failed, including the editors of Pink News. It was definitely a tongue in cheek statement. Lighten up.

It makes sense. I’ve always suspected that the KKK, like other supremacy groups, was primarily populated by homosexuals. Just like the Greeks, Romans, Nazis, Muslims, etc, homosexuality (especially pederasty) seems to go hand-in-hand with supremacy and race-hatred.

With ‘friends’ like that who needs enemies. The KKK couldn’t care any more for gay people than the Phelps could. They are clear this is just about the soldiers’ funerals. If they had the same leeway today as they had in earlier years, they’d be lynching gay people as well as black people, while the US police turned a blind eye. Their racist literature on interracial marriage used gay marriage as an example of ‘what would come next’. I honestly can’t believe there’s still an active KKK in today’s world, it’s like the flat earth society, except the flat earth society today is done solely in jest.

The Catholic Inquisition burnt people at the stake for believing that the Earth was round and it orbited the Sun. Nowadays, thanks to science not even the Pope disputes those facts so why does he continue to dispute homosexuality as normal?

The Catholic Church cannot do any turnarounds on anything without undermining the authority they have been exercising and profiting from for hundreds of years. I truly believe that the hierarchies in all the religious groups know that there is no god, but they have to keep it going to ensure they maintain their power.

The ‘black legend’ has much to do with protestant propaganda and the gothic imagination (eg Poe)& Python ! .Copernicus was a canon (perhaps even a priest) and the Church had no problems with his theory – remember science, art, architecture, universities(“lanterns shining in the house of God.” said one Pope) all flourished due to the Church.

Cannot say what I can make of the KKK involvement…but Westboro brings more people over to our side than you can imagine…extreme positions — and how much more extreme does it get?– push uncommitted people to think and then walk away from such nonsense. Even people who are not coming down for gay rights cannot countenance this crowd…well, if the KKK thinks you are too hard on gays or something…yeah…
