Perhaps as an openly gay man and role model, he wants to be seen by as many people as possible? Visibility of gay people is really important for equality…we sometimes forget this in our ghettos..
Don’t normally watch this programme but as the gorgeous hunk Gareth is going to be on it I will give it a go……and there’s also Shayne Ward to drool over too

I agree with ray everyone suddenly forgets what he put his ex wife through. I can understand ‘bring in the closet’ ie not disclosing your sexuality as a pro athlete but dragging an unwilling participant into your sham is just a disgrace.
No Gay people would be in dishonest marriages if society had a healthier attitude to GLBT people. He was a victim too.
