Washington State became the first US state on the west coast to allow same sex marriage by a referendum!

    Well done Washington State!

    California are you paying attention?

Both California and Oregon will support same sex marriage at the ballot in 2014 and Nevada in 2016 and 2018!

Remember in Nevada, you have to approve of state constitutional amendments twice at the ballot!

Not sure about Hawaii, maybe in 2014 or 2016!

Washington State was also the first state in the US back in 2009 to allow domestic partnerships (also known as “everything but marriage” law) at the ballot box referendum!

Congratulations to all the happy couples in WA today! Take that stupid bigots! You will not get any wedding cake or presents today! I hope they release all the names and addresses of those who signed the Referendum 74 (like they did with Referendum 71 back in 2009) petitions so we see who the bigots are!

One county called Whitman (we’re both my mother and father live) in the West of Washington State actually voted to APPROVE of same sex marriage by just 224 votes how surprising hey?!
