Monsieur Romero says that “Only 4 members of parliament have ever admitted being gay, and HIV-infected.” That’s quite extraordinary. We haven’t capped that, have we. As far as I know, there’s only been one UK MP who’s been gay and HIV+.
So sorry to hear that he receives emails and letters full of insults.
Good article, PinkNews. But I do wonder why you didn’t run the story I sent you last week regarding the hospital in Greece that can no longer afford to give any of its HIV+ patients the antiretroviral drugs that they so desperately need.
