Well done, NUS, still as active today as it was when I was at Uni in the early 70s. Thank you, great idea too.

  5. There’s no need. There are civil partnerships. Some people are gay. Fine. But there is no need at all for the marriage. As it is against the laws of nature fundamentally. It won’t them feel more at ease having the right to do it. In nature gay animals are outcasts – but we have already compromised with their difference and accepted it, but some things should not be compromised with – full stop.

Your opinion comes at least three days too late, nobody will read and react on this. Only I, darling. And I totally disagree, even from Your point of view: gay people ‘having to do it’ even under reigning of Victoria or Adolf – and well, yes, I suspect, they will ‘do it’ in the future too – with/in the marriage or not. Because homosexuality is old as is the world. And Your cold bio-deterministic argument, that ‘in nature gay animals are outcasts’ (what is not absolutely correct) and ‘we have already compromised with their difference’ (who is ‘we’? and why people like You in the case of gay people making all ways this strange ‘difference’ between ‘we’ and ‘they’?) show, that here is no place for ‘acceptance with their difference’ – because ‘compromise’ is needed if and just then, when you hate somebody, but can`t forbidden or change it and have no time or energy for openly conflict. Full stop.

P.S. And let gay people decide himself, what is need for they and what not!
