All very sad but also inevitable. Prowlers and opportunists such as Peter Morrison aren’t a thing of the past in those hazy days of the 60s, 70s and 80s. In another twenty years those of us still around may well be reading stories about the likes of Chris Morris (not the Brass Eye one) or Mandelson or Tatchell for all we know. The power that ‘celebrity’ has over common sense for the average lay person is probably more potent now than it was when Jimmy Savile and Morrison were doing the rounds.
Hi, I’m not comfortable with this man being called a ‘gay former MP’ and then reading that he was infact a paedophile. I think the gay media ought to making a clearer distinction between Gay, and promote all the positive aspects of that, and, paedophihilia which is morally and legally wrong. Not upset about it just dont like gay being allowed to be associated in the publics mind with paedophilia.
Don’t really know what’s going on here – I’m not going to defend a Thatcherite MP – but where’s the evidence on this man’s sexual tastes?
We live in a legal environment where it is impossible to libel the dead. No evidence has been advanced on Jimmy Savile’s alleged behaviour (I never thought Savile was much cop – an inarticulate semi-yodel was hardly the most gripping ‘signature phrase’.)

Wonder what will happen to Peter Lilley, Lord McAlpine and Michael Portillo?

…and Thatcher-era darling Ken Clark, who last year halved the length of prison sentencing for paedophiles.
Does he know something we don’t?

Come on – if there is any evidence stick it down in a post on here. Otherwise don’t bother just spreading gossip and muck
