Thank you, Anne. You put your money where your mouth is. Would that our politicians would do the same and get it done.

  3. It’s Adam and Anne not Adam and Eve.

Anne is a real honey, she was great in “Brokeback Mountain” and “The Devil Wears Prada” too.

Congratulations Anne and Adam and thank you for supporting marriage equality.

  5. Pure class, what a wonderful woman and from the sounds of it from a wonderful family.

  6. What a wonderful gesture to so many charities. Many other celebrities should take a leaf out of her book.

On another note, I can’t wait to see her in the movie version of Les Mis, her version of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from the trailer is haunting.

  7. Anne is so graceful. Another reason to love her even more!

    1. Graceful in all senses of the word, indeed.

  8. What a great thing to do – thank you, Anne!

  9. Lovely person inside and out.

what a star..she’s just gone and joined Elizabeth Taylor (RIP) as my all time fave gay friendly movie star.

  11. It’s a wonderful gesture and speaks volumes for the kind of person she is. She’s one of the biggest and best allies the LGBT community has. Long may her acting success continue.

My goodness – ALL of these comments are positive. Is that a first? Well done Anne – you’ve achieved a small miracle.

  13. You know I really, really like her, and for good reason.
