  1. I would point out to Benjy that I’m also gay, Jewish (on my mother’s side) and, ahem, single, with a nicely-paid job in retail.

    Just saying…

    1. Can I amend that to single with a capital ‘S’?

      1. Spanner1960 18 Oct 2012, 9:34am

Why can’t you just settle down with a nice boy, like a lawyer or a doctor?
Or someone with an ‘ology? :)

        1. What’s wrong with a nice publisher?!

          1. Spanner1960 18 Oct 2012, 12:59pm

            “Media Studies”?
What kind of qualification is that!?

    2. What a shame he is already taken……………more disappointment for you! SHAME!

      1. And what would you know about anything to do concerning affairs oft the heart, W6?

It would help if you at least had one to start with!

Still, true to form as ever I supposed…

        (Stifles yawn)

        1. …and I can only begin to imagine what your bedside manner is like!

          1. I see you obviously have a liking for role play – Dr’s n Nurses is it “bedside manner”????? What a way to describe ones sex life, but then I would imagine you would want to have all the medical facts available for any of your prospective suitors………..latest STI results, latest HIV test results, home testing kit at the ready & probably the telephone number of your local clinic emblazoned on the wall just in case a condom should break – very romantic!

At least Ben has the balls to be totally upfront about his sexuality, I am very sure that you are a closet case when it comes to family – that must be such a blight on your life!

          2. Ever the conspiracy theorist, eh, W6?

    3. This makes me laugh – ” with a nicely-paid job in retail”. It really is so important to know the financial status of anyone that you may wish to become acquainted with, but there again money is everything to you Samuel!

I didn’t realise TK Maxx (or is it Poundland) were paying so well these days. Well paid job in retail????? Retail is one of the most slavish lowly paid professions going – somehow, even if Ben was not attached I really do not think he would be interested in your discount card Samuel. I think you need to set your sights much lower than a handsome man like Ben!

Going on 35 this year ain’t you Samuel????? Looks to me like you might be gathering dust on the shelf!

      1. Depends what you mean as “a nicely-paid job” I consider one is where you can live comfortably, and as my boyfriend works at chav direct (more commonly known as Sports Direct) and I used to, I know that you can have a nicely paid job in retail. Guess it just depends how uptight you are…

      2. 33 actually, bitch!

  2. Cardinal Capone 18 Oct 2012, 1:21am

Such a nice boy, but he’s no rugby player ;)

  3. Robert in S. Kensington 18 Oct 2012, 2:45am

Ben, I wish you much success in your future endeavours and that finally, you find the love of your life. Thank you for what you do on our behalf. Mazel tov!

    “Ultimate niche within a niche.”

Not really. A former long -term BF of mine was gay, Jewish and Indian.

That is the ultimate niche within a niche within a niche…

    1. Was he also in a wheelchair?

      1. Now that WOULD be ironic!!!

      2. Spanner1960 18 Oct 2012, 1:00pm

No, he was admirably able-bodied actually. :)

        1. Blush!!

  5. “Alongside various other straight Jewish celebrities”. The inclusion of the word “other” in this statement infers that Cohen is straight and therefore an untruism is presented. The bastardisation of the English language continues unabatedly.

    1. Spanner1960 18 Oct 2012, 1:03pm

“The bastardisation of the English language continues unabatedly.”

      Pot. Kettle.
You are using an adverb instead of an adjective.
      The word is “unabated”.

      1. Muphry’s Law strikes again!

  6. What’s ground breaking about this show?
