If he had qualms about doing these injections, he should have refused to administer them in the first place as this is apparently illegal and shouldn’t he have been trained as to how to do it safely? Didn’t know what to do? How about go to the doctors! This would be a workers’ compensation claim. There just isn’t something right here, sounds like he is just looking for a legal settlement.
He had no concern about what he was doing before and sounds like he still has no concern only for himself – disgusting and should be arrested and tried in criminal law.
