I am actually kind of bored with x Factor contestants airing their personal lives in the press. It seems as if it’s a part of the contest. Lucy, glad your family are supportive of you, but it has nothing to do with whether you should win the contest or not, and really nothing to do with anyone other than your own nearest and dearest.

“I am actually kind of bored with x Factor….”

Merlin is on BBC at the same time isn’t it? Much better all round, and even has some serious Knights of the Round Table eye candy to gawp at :-)

  2. I’m sensing that Lucy’s mother kind of likes talking to the papers about the ins and outs of Lucy’s personal life … to excess

I think Lucy is talented but X Factor is the wrong show for her if the premise of the show is to find find singing talent with star charisma for a recording contract.
Lucy really doesn’t have strong vocals, she has a great alternative festival comic style talent though and would make a great live entertainer.
Too late I guess but her Mum should keep shtum about Lucy’s personal past..
