Wow, he co-wrote two songs on his own album! Music, like all forms of art should come from the heart, so the fact that he needs to listen to other people’s work to “get ideas” says it all. That, and the fact that he hangs around with Perez Hilton.

Joe McElderry has talent, like it or not, he is pleasantly handsome, as far as I know he isn’t a hell raiser and isn’t doing anyone any harm, and most importantly he is Gay and because of that alone he deserves our support. Goodness knows we have little enough support in this bigoted homophobic world, so the least we can do is support each other. So what if he’s pals with Perez Hilton, even Hilton deserves friends and obviously sees in Joe what a lot of other people see; a hardworking decent young man who happens to be Gay.

I’m certainly jealous of that hair, those eyes, and, well, the rest of it. But he does not have the faintest scintilla of talent. Which is why he steals other people’s songs, fills his albums with recycled tracks and lip-syncs during live performances.
The only one lipsynched was X Factor – which shouldn’t be a surprise seen as the group songs are mimed every week without fail and all previous x factor contestants have done so including Leona on multiple performances. I
How is being gay important.
Sexuality does not make a song any better or any worse and wont support a talentless x factor contestant just because he is gay. It should be about the music.
