There will be lots of benefits to a gay convention over a straight one- i would imagine most gay-gamers have discovered deodorant for example, which seems to be a rarity at most of these things!
Ummmm I don’t see the need. My sexuality has nothing to do with my gaming and don’t find any homophobia whilst playing as my sexuality isn’t of any interest to other gamers.

This is much like the ‘Black Pride’ thing – all it does is fragment LGBT people instead of bringing them in with everybody else.
