I’d prefer to spend time in Madonna’s company, rather than Elton John, even though I’m a big fan of Elton’s, but must admit I don’t like Madonna’s music.

I wish Elton and David all the best, but I really do wish the two of them would finally shut up.

At least Madge Richie is realistic if nowt else. She knows that everything Sir Elton has said about her has no realistic rebuttal. He in fact described her talentless career in a nut shell and she knows it and all the Lawyers in America couldn’t prove otherwise, so she chooses, resignedly, to make light of his comments and brush by them without bringing them to further attention.

Exactly. But all the Madge queens will be in a frenzy over that comment. As I stated when the story first came out, I knew Madonns wouldn’t dare retaliate because she knows Elton John is and always will be superior to her. Madge only takes at pop at people who she thinks are lesser than her, EG Lady GaGa. That’s what bullies do – it is a bullying tactic and Elton John put that bully in her place.

If the number of comments in support are anything to go by Mad
Madge’s days in the spot light are numbered. Now that is realistic.!

  3. It’s nice to see that when people are in their 50′s and 60′s they exhibit such a degree of maturity.

I never expected in the Eighties that in 2012 Madonna would show more class and grace than “Sir” Elton John. Aren’t Knights of the Realm supposed to be, well, CHIVALROUS?

  7. She is a better musician than he is, she is a better composer than he is, she looks so much better than him, she is so much nicer than him, she is so much smarter than him, she is so much richer and more successfull than him! LOVE MADONNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I am a big fan of Elton John, a talented singer/composer and true British showbiz royalty.

So why can’t he shut the f-ck up and act with a degree of dignity? (like Madonna is doing!)

I am rapidly losing patience (and respect) for both Elton AND David over this…. and it is showing NO respect to Madonnas legions of worldwide fans either..

    Grow up guys!

  9. I love how all the Saggy Madge queens are forgetting that the reason Sir EJ made these comments in the first place was because of Saggy Madge’s treatment of Lady GaGa. Sir EJ was doing what was best; putting a bully in her place – Saggy Madge will put down those that she thinks are lesser to her – a bully tatic. This is not about Saggy Madge having more class or more grace. Saggy Madge wouldn’t dare take on Sir EJ because she knows that he is bigger and better. So Saggy Madge queens, why don’t you all continue to enjoy her current tragic tour and watch her be controversial for controversial’s sake. Who’s reductive now, eh? LOL.

    1. But what does bullying a bully achieve? Isn’t it a little, shall we say, counter-productive?

        Rehan..
…Only one person bullying in this scenario and that is Madge Richie bullying GaGa. Sir Elton is merely putting the bully in her place and serving notice on her that her behaviour is unacceptable in the school yard or on the stage. This should be the fate of all bullies and Mad Madge has finally met her match. I commend Elton John for keeping a dignified silence for long enough but when bullying of the type Richie dishes out becomes personal and attacks on GAGA is’ in Sir EJs eyes, personal, it is time to speak up. It ill behooves the Mad Madge queens on this thread to be so supportive of an avowed bully like Richie and then next week decry school yard bullying of GLBs. Double standards are so obvious!

        1. You don’t think that resorting to personal insults himself rather undermines the impulse to ‘put her in her place’?

(Just to be clear, I’m as uninterested in Reg Dwight as I am in Madonna Ciccone as performers or musicians.)

18 comments ought to be enough to convince even the most besotted Madge queen that what Sir Elton spoke the truth about Madonna Richie. When a homophobic wannabe politico in Oxford can garner upwards of 400 comments it is definitely time for Madge to retire to, as i’ve said before, a dusty pile in the Hamptons, count her ill gotten gains and await her grandchildren.
