That absolves idiots like him of the responsibility to actually THINK though doesn’t it…
Short of the potentially damaging effect of forcing ritualistic and dogmatic beliefs systems on children and vulnerable adults (which, incidentally, isn’t only the prerogative of ‘religious’ belief systems) it’s not actually ‘Religion’ which is the problem; it’s PEOPLE

  12. “strains of religion are akin to a virus that destroys rationality”

I am not sure this was a good analogy as it assumes that the capacity to evaluate issues in a rational was there is the first place in order for it to to be destroyed.

What is clear is that the bar to be a pastor is set low.

Fortunately these witch doctor types are, outside their own small cliques, viewed as an anachronism in the twenty first century. It is just a shame taht gay media , ironaclly are the ones giving them worldwide exposure, which is the real reason for these American inspired outbursts. Doesn’t anyone see the exact same language as was evidnt fron that Southern Baptist nut a few months ago……. Ignore the bastards and they will soon fry up. During apartheid there was a phenomenen in S Africa called necklaceing wher warring factions hung burning tyres around victims necks. It was decided to stop reporting it as it was felt that 99% of it was for the media and copy cat. Almost overnight necklacing stopped! ‘Nough said…….

Sorry, the “Culture of Death” of which this “pastor” speaks is entirely a thing of the KKKristian church…go figure! It has been for 2000 years now, as it has murdered more than 100 million innocent people…now that IS a culture of death, one must agree. It is NOT an LGBTIQ thing at all, and most certainly is a KKKristian thing indeed. Religion obviously rots one’s brain and creates massive stupidity…here is more evidence of that sad fact….just saying…

Incidentally, Hatred is such a fundamentalist KKKristian right like Bigotry, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia…all such good wholesome ‘family’ values that are being taught to yet another generation. Religion must be destroyed before it destroys all of civilization as it surely wishes to do (much evidence of this exists already…how much more do we need in order to ban this horrid stuff?)

That is unbecoming of you to blame all religion for the crassness of a few misguided nitwits in some religions. Religion in the hands of the right people is a powerful force to counter the evils pushed out by the likes of the Roman Catholic Church and the wishy washy Church of England etc. Sweeping statements can cause problems. I am sure that you are intelligent enough to think before putting pen to paper. There are some of us here that actually enjoy going to church. Remember we are in this together fighting for our rights. Dissension among us is not a good thing. Religion is needed, but in the right hands and it is up to us to make sure that it is in the right hands and that it stays there.

Sadly, religion is not in the hands of those who would use it for good…the Catholic church, the Mormon church and many Muslim sects are in fact in the hands and under the control of “fundamentalists” whose only goal is to enslave all of humanity to their own cult and to utterly destroy any who refuse to join in, so while ideally you are correct that religion can be a force for good, in all practicality it is used to murder millions of innocent people all over the world. As an American living in the “bible belt” I can personally attest to the violence and unrelenting bigotry spouted by ALL self-proclaimed ‘Christian’ groups here in the US. As an aside, the Catholic church coming to the new world killed an estimated 100 million native peoples in North and South America, and the same ‘religious’ organization has murdered about 50 million innocent people since its founding 2000 yrs ago; this includes millions of Jews and Protestants. Say what you will about ‘religion’ but these are facts

I’ve met many thousands of self-identified Christians in my life…perhaps as many as 5 of them were what they claimed to be “good Christians”, the rest, not so much. All over the world religion is used as an instrument of control, an instrument of evil, an instrument of torture and murder. Those “good” religious people are overhwelmingly in the minority, usually by orders of magnitude. Yes, ideally religion should be used for good but history proves otherwise consistently and uniquivicably….it is a sad and even horrifying comment upon our entire species. So in my humble opinion, it needs to be removed form the consciousness of humanity, for humanity’s sake, otherwise it will certainly be the death of us all. It serves only to divide us one from the other; personally I serve the Light and am filled with Love and Compassion, but that in no way makes me blind to the true ‘reality’ of what humans call ‘religion’. I’m sorry to be a nay-sayer but I am an old man of 61 and history speaks.

‘Christians’ are always blaming everyone else, rather than egaging in a bit of introspection. It is sad that someone of his ilk is allowed by the people whom he ‘serves’ to act in this manner. History shows that christians leave behind a destructive trail. I think this man is the wolf in sheep’s clothes – The Devil!

I agree with Pastor Errol Naidoo, homosexuality is to blame for those miners killed, I believe is because the South African allowed and legalized homosexuality our country is cursed and that why we have mothers that kills their own children, fathers rape and murder their own children and crime is totally of off control. Never before was our crimes against children so high, ever since homosexuality was legalized more and more children are killed. Ban homosexuality in our country will be bless again, In my opinion they are also to blame for all sex attacks on children, because people who kill and molest children have a homosexual back ground. They are to blame for our high crime rate, because they lure young people with drugs and alcohol to a life of homosexuality. In Cape Town gay men drive around in their larney cars, pick up young men, entertain them with drugs and alcohol for sexual favours, when they done with youngsters they drop off know drug and alcohol addicted youngsters in townships, these youngsters know commit crimes, steal from family and friends to feed their drug habits introduced to them by homosexuals. All homosexuals are a curse and a danger to our children. I say we must rid our communities of these perverts who rapes our children and feed young people with drugs and alcohol. The government should round them up and drop them off in the desert or an isolated Island while they at it drop an atomic bomb on them and rid us of the curse of gays and lesbians. Only when our country is rid of homosexuals perverts our country will be bless again. Crimes is a homosexual curse and our children are the victims of these evil called homosexuality.
