  1. There is hope for many parts of the US yet! These kinds of stories do help restore your faith in humanity.

Well done too to Mr Henegar Jr for assisting

    Faith in humanity restored.

  3. That’s the sort of news that makes the fight for equality worth it, and restored ones faith in humanity.

  4. Beautiful! :)

  5. Heartwarming :) Well done to all those who helped.

  6. With no religion to create barriers the whole world could have been like this now.
Such a nice story and such a shame things like this are so rare

  7. :)

  8. Perhaps Pink News could get together with other LGBT organizations and make a donation to these guys to reimburse their costs (or just buy their wives some flowers), to show we appreciate what they have done.
Or at the very least arrange a letter we, the readers could individually “sign” as a “thank you”.

  9. Least we could do is name and list the businesses that helped out. They deserve some free publicity and advertising for this. Big thank you to them!

  10. With all of the homophobia out there… This is one heartwarming, refreshing story.

    Well done all!

  11. Fantastic support from all those in the Town. Hey Pink Paper how about sending them an award to show how much we appreciate their help and support for one of their gay residents, three cheers to them all.

  12. Very impressed – so good to know decent people will take a stand on occasion.
