The Daily Mail reports that popstar Sir Elton John has been holidaying in St Tropez with gay porn star Dolph Lambert among others while baby Zachary was in the care of a nanny.

The Bel Ami star of Lemonade, More Than You Can Handle and Anytime, Anywhere joined Sir Elton and other celebrity friends including tennis player Jan-Michael Gambil, model Andy Lehmann and welsh singer Rod Thomas.

Gambil, the world number 14 seed tennis player recently competed in a charity tournament to raise funds for the Elton John Aids Foundation. Yesterday in an interview with Radio Times magazine, Sir Elton said he and David Furnish’s fears that their son Zachary will face taunts, and that: “At school other children will say, ‘you don’t have a mummy.’”

He said: “We’ve come a long way, but there’s still homophobia and will be until a new generation of parents don’t instil it in their children.”

Sir Elton,  also spoke of the difficulty Zachary may face as the son of a celebrity, and described it as a “huge ball and chain.”

In an February interview with Attitude magazine, the couple spoke of the “challenges” facing the family.

Their first son, Zachary, was born on Christmas Day 2010. His godmother was later confirmed to be Lady Gaga.

Of baby Zachary, Furnish tells Attitude: “I think he’s going to have a lot of attention thrust upon him.

“He’s going to be potentially doubly stigmatised, because one of his parents is extremely famous and because he comes from two dads.

“We’ve taken advice from counsellors. We’ve put a whole scrapbook together about his creation, the people who were involved in the process and how the intent was about love. We’re going to raise him to be proud of who he is.”
