its more like they are victims of obsessive compulsive disorder of the variant called hatred.

Deep down in their wicked hearts , they know they are losing. Look for more insanity of likes of the catholic church, which supported the likes of Goebbels, Himmler, Eichmann, and Mengele – all catholics in a nation then only 1/3 catholic

  8. After spending some time in the Politics board of IMDb (yes, I am sorry for doing that) and learning a little more about the state of the US elections and all that nasty talk about abortion rights (Paul Ryan, Todd Akin and all those nice figures of the American crazy political scenario) I am not even afraid of the Republicans anymore. It seems like all the members of the GOP suddenly turned into a bunch of buffoons, clowns and jesters pilotting a ship of fools towards nowhere. The Republicans don’t even know what they are doing anymore by publicly offending the American population. Homosexuals are barely humans, women probably deserve rape, so what’s next ? The United States was better in the times of black slavery ? I wouldn’t be surprised if some Republican politician made that declaration in public and then tried to apologize saying he was “taken out of context”, as it seems to be the standard excuse of every politician.

Romney is Bush like in his views and we all know what happened when that idiot was in power.

America’s human rights are no better than those of some African countires and I fear if Romney and his cronies have the power all the advancements in human rights the current US governement made would have been a waste of time.

America please do not vote in this fool!

Anyone who thinks the Repugs don’t have a chance of winning need to consider 3 things.

    1. We’re talking about America. There’s no such thing as too right-wing.

    2. Citizens United means that there is no transparency and no accountability and no limits on campaign spending.

    3. The Repugs have succeeded in doing the cost analysis of how many votes need to be suppressed in how many states to secure their victory.

But of course they would never do that! The results wouldn’t favour them.

So, can he tell the difference. Surely not.

How can anyone relate to being gay and a drug addict.

Many gay people do take too many drugs to give them self esteem and to have good sex.

But to associate it to us, is purely wrong, as it is a huge society problem, full stop.

I get fed up of the constant references to Polygamy. It’s the most stupid comparison to marriage equality there is.

Where i n his bible does Mr. Rooney find any reference to “and XYZ took and lived with multiple husbands”

Where in the USA can he reference on situation where any arrest have been made for same sex underage polygamy?

No he can’t! because the only ones he can reference are “heterosexual” examples from bible parables or polygamist like Warren Jeffs

Almost as stupid as “Being gay to being a drug addict” rephrased would say “Being a drug to being gay”

There’s no comparison so why keep making them?

What is even more sickening is that gay republicans, an oxymoron if ever there were, will be voting for this dangerous idiot who supports a federal ban on equal marriage and who donated to the Prop. 8 campaign overturning California’s marriage equality law. Even if the American economy were booming and jobs plentiful, they’d still vote for this moron because equality isn’t a priority for them, never was and never will be.

Well, of course they should. They should be allowed to have as many wives as they wish. Islam allows Muslims to have four, and how many is it that some Mormons still have? As long as they can afford to have multiple wives, there should be no problem. Romney in his heart of hearts most likely accepts the Mormon belief in having many wives.

I am rather disappointed by the erroneous headline to this story and even more so, if not particularly surprised, by the comments that appear to be reacting to that headline (or a misreading of such that Romney himself made the statement) rather than to the story itself.

As I read it, Mr Kobach was apparently providing examples of government judging actions that do not infringe upon the rights of others. According to the article, he was not ‘comparing’ or ‘likening’ homosexuality, ‘being gay’ or even civil unions to any crimes; he was merely countering a sentence proclaiming limits on governmental authority by illustrating laws which obviously exceed those limits.
