Very sad for his family. They don’t need hateful comments from others at this time, they have enough pain to deal with.
I don’t know how many ‘hateful comments’ they’ve had to deal with, but they could have advised the deceased to cut down on his own hatefulness in the first place – then there might have been rather more sympathy.
