  1. They are so woefully ignorant and beyond help.

    1. sjames6621@yahoo.com 28 Sep 2012, 9:39am

      the word family is rapidly

      becoming a word for hate.

these people are again playing with Goebbels “if you tell a lie often enough etc

Naturally , he, hitler, himmler, goebbels, Dr. Mengele and of course Eichmann were catholics and products of catholic schools..

  2. I read this story yesterday on a US website.

    Just saying.

It’s old news like ALL the US based stories on this website.

It’s strange how a UK based website is making such an effort to report on US stories but doing so 24 hours after they’ve been published elsewhere.

Is there really NOTHING happening in LGBT news in Europe?

    1. Cardinal Capone 15 Aug 2012, 2:37pm

Er…this is about Prague Pride, and American hate groups interfering.

    2. News that broke just yesterday is somehow old? You’ve posted your grievance about US articles on PinkNews before, and have been rebuked.

PN has a large US readership, and therefore caters to those members. I enjoy reading about LGBT stories worldwide, not just the UK, and do many others.

        @Tom…
……You’ve posted your grievance about US articles on PinkNews before, and have been rebuked. By whom pray. The arrogance of your comment defies description. Who are You, btw to rebuke anyone, a spit and run troll. Regardless of the numbers Stateside, Pink News IS a European website and as such should have more regard for its UK and European readers. There is just way way too much rubbish from the US. If they were interesting stories it would lessen the drag somewhat, but most of them are so tediously boring and usually about equally tedious ignorant people. Now rebuke me, Toad, I mean Tom.

        1. Every comment dAVID has posted in a US article has been negative, of both the country and PN coverage, whilst at the same time, pushing the Towleroad blog. dAVID has received scores of ‘bad comment’ votes and critical replies but remains wholly ignorant.

PinkNews has both a UK section and a World section. If you wish to remain oblivious to the plight the LGBT community faces worldwide, then by all means solely visit the former.

Toad? Hang on, isn’t resorting to insults usually indicative that the person has lost the argument?

(Hey dAVID, your surname isn’t Caloren by any chance?)

    3. Paddyswurds 15 Aug 2012, 4:18pm

Er, The Czech Republic is in Europe, dAVID…Just sayin like :L

    4. Oh FFS, get over yourself. I didn’t read it, cause I don’t read every fecking gay news website in the world.

  3. Robert in S. Kensington 15 Aug 2012, 1:41pm

Yet it’s ok for religious bigoted nutters to denigrate, vilify, dehumanise, spread lies and erroneous information about LGBT people as well as deny them the basic civil rights enjoyed by the majority? By “traditional” family, I hope they include the serial hetero adulterers and unwed hetero mothers, the ones who believe in the sanctity of marriage.

  4. Not the crap about the gay agenda again! Talk about paranoid! The only ones with an agenda here are the anti-LGBT group who seek to discriminate against us.

Perhaps the World Congress of Families might like to consider that LGBT people have families too, but I doubt it. “Family” here is code for anti-gay.

    1. Cardinal Capone 15 Aug 2012, 2:42pm

I read that the “World Congress” is something like one man and a computer. Like “One Million moms”, or the “Christian Instiute” the big sounding names are often to disguise a much smaller reality.

      1. The Royal We being used in a distinctly unregal manner …!

(We are most certainly not amused.)

    2. Ah, you confirm what I guessed, Cardinal Capone :D Funny how they seem to need to deceive and big up their own importance and power, isn’t it?

  5. Dave North 15 Aug 2012, 2:12pm

It always amazes me just how little these freaks actually know about “traditional” biblical families.

If anything, their family arrangements are the ones out of kilter with their bl@@y bible.

  6. The more noise they make, the less anyone listens.

  7. Promote the ‘gay agenda’ The only agenda that we gay men and women have is for full equality.

  8. I’m interested in stories from all parts of the world, but as an American guy, I like the fact that PN covers some of the US news as well. Not because they are fastest in reporting it, but because I appreciate the UK perspective on it both from the articles themselves and the comments of the readers.

    1. Very good point, Dana!

  9. The King family seems to be having some infighting. MLKJr’s wife Coretta Scott King and their daughter Yolanda King both strongly supported LGBT rights. And Coretta Scott King said her late husband did too, but could not mention it publicly in those days.

    1. David Myers 16 Aug 2012, 10:19am

Yes the only family member speaking hate against gays and lesbians is the one daughter.

  10. “stigmatization and marginalization of any who object” … you mean the same way the masses have stigmatised and marginalised gay people because they object?

  11. “We cannot imagine a worse form of cultural imperialism than Washington trying to force approval of the ‘gay’ agenda on societies with traditional values.”

Yeah, right, So they object on principle to the imposition of ‘Christian’ nuclear-family ideals on, say, Africa and parts of Asia, do they? Like hades they do.

  12. Incidentally, good for the British ambassador for signing the letter of support too.

  13. These are the same evangelicals who send representatives to Africa to spread hate against the LBGT community. Yet they have the gall to criticize The US Embassy for recognising Gay Pride in Prague. The hypocrisy!

    1. David Myers 16 Aug 2012, 10:21am

Not only spread hate but advocate national legislation in those countries to make homosexuality a capital crime with a mandatory dealth penalty!

  14. Only 120 people signed the open letter?
That’s quite a small sample. They should probably try harder next time.
