PN has a large US readership, and therefore caters to those members. I enjoy reading about LGBT stories worldwide, not just the UK, and do many others.

Every comment dAVID has posted in a US article has been negative, of both the country and PN coverage, whilst at the same time, pushing the Towleroad blog. dAVID has received scores of ‘bad comment’ votes and critical replies but remains wholly ignorant.
PinkNews has both a UK section and a World section. If you wish to remain oblivious to the plight the LGBT community faces worldwide, then by all means solely visit the former.

Yet it’s ok for religious bigoted nutters to denigrate, vilify, dehumanise, spread lies and erroneous information about LGBT people as well as deny them the basic civil rights enjoyed by the majority? By “traditional” family, I hope they include the serial hetero adulterers and unwed hetero mothers, the ones who believe in the sanctity of marriage.

Perhaps the World Congress of Families might like to consider that LGBT people have families too, but I doubt it. “Family” here is code for anti-gay.
I read that the “World Congress” is something like one man and a computer. Like “One Million moms”, or the “Christian Instiute” the big sounding names are often to disguise a much smaller reality.

I’m interested in stories from all parts of the world, but as an American guy, I like the fact that PN covers some of the US news as well. Not because they are fastest in reporting it, but because I appreciate the UK perspective on it both from the articles themselves and the comments of the readers.

The King family seems to be having some infighting. MLKJr’s wife Coretta Scott King and their daughter Yolanda King both strongly supported LGBT rights. And Coretta Scott King said her late husband did too, but could not mention it publicly in those days.
Yes the only family member speaking hate against gays and lesbians is the one daughter.

These are the same evangelicals who send representatives to Africa to spread hate against the LBGT community. Yet they have the gall to criticize The US Embassy for recognising Gay Pride in Prague. The hypocrisy!
Not only spread hate but advocate national legislation in those countries to make homosexuality a capital crime with a mandatory dealth penalty!
