And this will continue — expect more of this as long as the religious wrong is allowed to spew their hatred from their pulpits, thereby enraging the uneducated.

I understand the need not to jump to conclusions, but seriously? They carved “dyke” into her skin. What more evidence do they need before they’ll consider it a hate crime?
So the Nebrasken Police have not yet classed this as a Hate Crime!!! So in their eyes what constitutes a Hate Crime???? As long as there are Police forces out there who appear to be failing in their duty to protect LGBT people then these attacks will continue. I am absolutely aghast that this happened and I hope they catch those responsible quickly. Lets all hope they will feel the full force of the law and not just a slap on the wrist!!!!!.

A terrible thing to have happened. Full marks and a big thank you to all the people who went to the vigil in support of her. We have friends.

The police will never consider it a hate crime, and they won’t try very hard to find the animals who did it. They probably think she deserved it.
