    ….meh!

  2. Good news Bad news! It was allowed this year but won’t be extended to other events. (Sucks!)

One thing that unites Americans is their pride in their service men/women.

The fact that there has been such visible support for military personnel since DADT was repealed makes it sad that this may be a one time permissible event.

Having watched the reaction of the crowd chant and applaud to Policing with Pride in Manchester, being visible certainly helps to change societal attitudes and perceptions about gays by exemplifying our contributions, significance and place in society.

I sincerely hope that the pentagon rethinks it’s one time only policy which contrarily appears as an “in future serve… don’t be seen!” where is the pride in that for the servicemen/women?

  3. Wow. This Pride looks amazing from the pictures. Love the inclusion of massive balloons dipicting Gay Marriage. Lots of colour and happy people. Love it!!

    1. OK so I get marked down for loving a Pride Parade. Heaven forbid. Some people are never happy.
