I wish you Brits would send some rain to Canada – it’s so dry here that Ontario is starting to look like Arizona… without the guns and the stormtroopers searching for immigration documents on tanned people, of course!
In recent years I notice that April and May seem to enjoy exceptionally good weather before it turns bad again in early June and stay that way until late August when we usually enjoy a couple of months of Indian summer. Maybe it is time that organisors of outdoor events, whether it is gay pride, music festivals or agricultural shows show consider moving these events to either April-May or September-October when the weather often seems to be better than in June, July and August.
