The halo effect from Argentina and Mexico across Latin America is accelerating. Brazil and Colombia will likely both see marriage equality soon, which would see Uruguay follow as they are nearly there anyway. Ecuador enshrines the right of LGBT couples to be considered a family in their constitution, and meanwhile Chile and Bolivia are considering civil unions.

Great to see so much progress sweeping across the Americas. Thank you Argentina for lighting the path.

Well done, Argentina, you put us to shame. Interesting that it too had very vociferous opposition from the roman cult and similar invectives that we’re now getting in the UK. Take note Cardinal O’Brien and all of the other religious clerics in the UK, it’s coming whether you like it or not.
