Argentina: Gay couples celebrate second anniversary of marriage law 4
10:11 PM — Gay couples in Argentina are celebrating the second anniversary of a law giving them the right to marry. More than 6,000 gay couples have tied the knot since Argentina's president Christina Fernandez de Kirchner signed the law on July 21st 2010.
Thomson Reuters says Minnesota gay marriage ban ‘would be bad for business’ 6
10:09 PM — One of the world's biggest news outlets, Thomson Reuters, has joined a number of companies in protesting Minnesota's proposed gay marriage ban. In a statement, the firm said the proposed constitutional amendment would not "be good for Thomson Reuters or the business community in the state".
US store Target stocks cards for gay couples 20
10:06 PM — US retailer Target has begun selling greetings cards for same-sex couples. The Star-Tribune reports that cards with messages such as 'Mr & Mr' and 'For two special women' went on sale in mid-June.
